About Us

Blairlogie Living & Learning is a not for profit organisation providing supports to
people living with a disability in Outer South East Melbourne. We currently have
a brand new opportunity for residential site managers to join our leadership team.
Blairlogie services are in high demand and in a rapid growth stage.
Our vision at Blairlogie is to be the preeminent community based provider of
holistic quality support and services to people living with a disability.
Blairlogie is a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme
(NDIS). The organisation provides a range of services and supports to people
aged between 5 and 65 years.

Position Summary
We are looking for experienced, passionate, dynamic and innovative site
managers for our residential facilities, who are passionate about supporting people
with disabilities to reach their full potential and lead independent lives.
We are a new provider in the accommodation space and are delivering an
innovative model that is a combination of permanent residents and respite
services. These positions will report to our Residential Services Manager and will
be part of the leadership at Blairlogie.
We have three positions available, two are based in Cranbourne and one in

Key Responsibilities
You will have experience managing and leading accommodation services for
people with a disability.
You will be able to adapt to the different models of service we are delivering.
You will have the proven ability to lead and coordinate staff in functional areas
with a hands on management style.

Key Selection Criteria
Applicants will need to provide written evidence that they meet the following:
To succeed in this role you will need to:
1. Diploma in Disability Work / Community Services (Or Equivalent)
2. Five years or more recent experience in a similar environment
3. Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing
skills, and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people
from all backgrounds.
4. Experience working within budget allocations and rostering of staff for 24/7
5. Value people with disabilities, have empathy and cultural awareness.
6. Ability to lead, establish, manage and build positive working relationships
with staff, clients and other stakeholders.
7. Quality outcome focussed
8. Extensive knowledge and working experience of NDIS including principles,
services, quality safe guarding, rights, responsibilities and pricing guide etc.
9. Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
10.Strong organisational skills including sound time management skills
11.Experience in providing direct support and advice to staff with managing
behaviours of concern.
12.Ability to respond to client needs and promptly follow through on enquiries,
requests and complaints.
13.Understands the purpose of policies, ability to use operational policies to
guide their work and the work of others.
14.Experience in managing complex behaviours and needs, support and
reporting requirements
15.Must possess a Victorian Drivers License and vehicle.
